Who else is ready to move outdoors? One of last summer’s projects was an outdoor kitchen that incorporates reclaimed brick, 100-year old windows, and timber-framed pine and cedar. Using older and raw materials allowed the structure to fit beautifully into the forest context. (Sometimes there’s a place for hardie board siding and barkman patio pavers, but this ain’t it.) The whole thing closes up at night with an automated roller door to keep the wildlife out.
