We are loving how the plaster in our Exchange district bathroom project is luminous in every light. We installed glowing cove lighting and pendants that can be dimmed and controlled separately, so the light can be super low for relaxing evening bathing, or turned way up for getting ready at the mirror, with light suspended right at face level. . The space is really quite small, but feels much larger because we designed a floating vanity and wall-hung toilet and tucked little bits of storage into every niche. The vanity is quite shallow and tucks into another niche to accommodate a sink and wall-mount faucet to save depth. There’s just so many complicated details in this room, but ultimately it comes from our belief that our daily rituals (especially ones that we so often dismiss as mundane) can be considered and elevated as key parts of our mental and physical health. Thoughtful and critical design can create spaces that respond to those those needs if we take the time to examine and listen to them. . . . #bathroomdesign #wabisabi #designbuild #remodelista #winnipeghomes #exchangedistrictwinnipeg #exchangedistrict #interiors #interiordesign #bathroomdesign #bathroomgoals #smallspaces #plaster #tadelakt #axelvervoordt #spagoals #bespokebathrooms #microcement #lonnyliving #winnipegartist #winnipegrealtor #lightinggoals #vincentvanduysen #wpg #wpgnow #mywinnipeg #elledecor #ywg
