The sleeping area, as the most intimate zone of the master suite, is tucked away furthest from the public hallway and behind a wall from the door. We oriented the balcony and windows to face the private treed yard and the river so the experience from the bed is the most protective while also with the most expansive views. Raising the floor in the sleeping zone further helps to signify this as it’s own space within the larger room, while still preserving openness. Natural materials like plaster, un-stained wood, and New Zealand wool carpet (which feels great under foot) helps enhance the connection between indoors and out. . . #addition #renovation #winnipeg #winnipegrenovations #designbuild #interiordesign #interior123 #interiorforinspo #archdigest #designsponge #remodelista #interiors #sodomino #mydomaine #howwedwell #apartmenttherapy #manitoba #finehomebuilding
