The rich grain of teak and rosewood, the palest mint cabinetry, and flocked forest green wallpaper create a calming palette that connects the interior of this 50’s house in River Heights to its lush leafy view outside the picture windows. Check our website for more views of this dramatic transformation that involved removing structural walls, curating a large art wall, and adding a floor-to-ceiling wood burning fireplace clad in locally quarried stone. This project was a good opportunity to practice all our design-build skills from architectural to decor, even doing art framing and drapery. The clients had a great record collection, beautiful vintage furniture, and some really fun and meaningful art pieces which we chose to highlight and celebrate in the design, with the goal of making the home feel uniquely their own. #winnipegrenovation #designbuild #ywg #winnipegartist #shelfie #winnipegrealtor #travelmanitoba #exploremanitoba #riverheightswinnipeg #gowpg #retrokitchen #midcenturymodern #50sstyle #retrodesigns
