Swipe for before! We brought this 1950 house back to its roots. Inspired by 50’s kitchens, we used panelling rather than sheet goods (sheets of drywall and plywood weren’t used widely until the late 50’s) and darker wood tones like teak and rosewood. These brass pendant lights are by @gubiofficial and they can flip and pivot on the central axis to direct light up, down, or diffuse light as needed. Plus they are just fun to play around with and look totally unique in every position. We took down 2 walls and reconfigured much of the main floor. See last image to see how the kitchen was totally hidden behind full walls before we opened it up.
